Your Design Consultation launches the Family Art Process.
This is where I get a feel for and understand YOUR awesome family. I want to hear about the dynamics and people—who's the easygoing one, who's the wise guy in front of the camera, who's going to crack jokes the whole time.
Understanding your family's personalities helps me capture who you actually are, not just what you look like.
We'll cover everything you're wondering about:
- What should we wear?
- What will this actually cost?
- Which walls in your home are
we designing for?
- Should we bring the dog?
(Yes. Always yes.)

PHOTO SHOOT
Let's be honest—family photo shoots can be stressful.
Dad's checked out, the kids didn't nap, someone's hangry, and everybody's a little over it before you even start.
I get it. I'm a dad of two boys, and grew up in a family of 9. I've seen every kind of mood, meltdown, and middle-school attitude.
If you can get everyone dressed and through the studio door, I'll handle the rest.
Fair warning: your kids might not want to leave. Daniel Woods shoots are just FUN!

About a week after your session, you'll come back to the studio to see your portraits for the first time.
This is when we finalize everything—so make sure both decision-makers can be there.
Remember those wall photos from your Design Consultation? I'll show your finished portraits scaled directly onto your actual walls. No guessing on sizes. You'll see exactly what a 30x40 looks like above your fireplace before you commit to anything.
We'll work through your order together, using the vision we established in your consultation to make sure the final pieces match what you set out to create.

About 8-10 weeks after your order, your finished portraits arrive—delivered and installed in your home.
No trips to the frame shop, no hardware store runs, no "a little to the left... no, the OTHER left" arguments between you and your spouse.
We take care of the heavy lifting and hanging and just:

I spent 15 years creating innovative photography that earned recognition from Sony Corporation, & the photography industry's top conventions, and I founded 2 boutique adventure portrait studios in La Jolla CA and Las Vegas NV.
When I pick up a camera, every time I'm purposely going for something exceptional and wow.
As a father of 2 boys, and the 2nd of 7 Woods kids, family is my highest value.
